A quick post as Mum and Dad are here and we are off to the Tarbert seafood festival. I pinch out all side shoots from my tomato plants to encourage the fruit growth. I didn't notice this plant had sneakily tried to grow an extra shoot from the end of a truss of flowers.
Always the same with tomatoes, producing extra shoots when you're not looking!
ReplyDeleteYeah, they're cunning, side shoots I expect and look out for but this shoot was growing from a bunch of flowers so I hadn't noticed it.
